Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth are the final set of molars to emerge. It is common for your wisdom teeth to become misaligned or crowded with your existing teeth, which can place your other teeth at risk of impaction or misalignment when the wisdom teeth emerge. Therefore, the wisdom teeth are often removed before they place other teeth at risk.
Extraction is performed under local anesthetic and a sedative. The wisdom teeth are normally extracted through incisions in your gums before they emerge. Once the teeth have been removed we close the incisions with sutures.
We’ll provide you with post-surgical instructions to manage pain and discomfort while your mouth heals.
